Preussag Announces Oil Find In Tunisia

Germany's Preussag Energy Gmbh has announced that it has discovered oil in Tunisia'sGuebiba field, where it holds 49% of the concession and Tunisia's state-owned ETAP holds51%. The company said that its well found oil at a depth of 2,800 ms. and is producing at2,500 b/d. Last September, Preussag acquired a number of assets from British Gas Tunisiafor an undisclosed price.
