Iran's Foreign Debt Continues To Decline
According to the latest issue of Economic Trends, the quarterly bulletin of theCentral Bank of Iran, total foreign debt on 22 September 1997 (the end of first half ofthe Iranian year 1376) stood at $14,290mn - $3,746mn in short-term debt and $10,544mn inmedium and long-term debt - down from $16,835mn on 20 March 1997.
