EIB Offers Further Support For Egyptian Highway
The European Investment Bank (EIB), the EU's long-term financing arm, said on 24 Marchthat it had made a ECU5mn ($5.5mn) loan to Egypt for the construction of a 60-km sectionof the highway linking Alexandria to the towns of Ismailia, Port Said and the Sinairegion.
