1997 Egyptian Crude Oil Prices
The 1997 average price of Egypt's Suez Blend marker crude was $16.978/B, according to arecent issue of the monthly al-Bitrul magazine published by the Egyptian GeneralPetroleum Corporation (EGPC). This is 9.6% lower than the comparable average price of$18.780/B last year (MEES, 5 May 1997).
