Iran Denies Report Of Settlement Of Claims Against US
The Iranian Foreign Minister, Mr. Kamal Kharrazi, has denied a recent report in theIranian press that Iran and the US have resolved most of the issues in their dispute overfrozen Iranian assets in the US. He stressed last week that the value of these assets isestimated at "billions of dollars" net of accrued interest and that anatmosphere of mistrust hindered any improvement in relations with the US.
