Israeli Cabinet Approves Accession To OECD
The Israeli cabinet on 22 August approved an invitation to join the Organization of Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), placing it among the worlds developed free market democracies. The Paris-based organization invited Israel, along with Estonia and Slovenia, to join last May. Their memberships will bring that organizations number to 34.
