Gas Pipeline From Iran Attacked
The natural gas pipeline carrying Iranian gas to Turkey was attacked for a second time in little more than a month on 25 August. An explosion and subsequent fire on the pipeline in Turkeys eastern Agri province forced Iran to stop shipments. Officials at Turkeys pipeline operator Botas said repairs could take up to a week.
