Pricing On Alba Loan Released
The $400mn eight-year loan to Aluminum Bahrain (Alba) was priced at 50 basis points(bps) over Libor. The loan has a four-and-half-year grace period and was organized underEnglish law. The six banks involved on an equal basis were: al-Ahli Commercial Bank, ArabBanking Corporation, Societe Generale, Chase Manhattan, Sumitomo and Arab National Bank.
