Saudi Aramco Brings Land Rig Fire Under Control
Saudi Aramco announced on 10 July that it had brought under control a blowout and fireat its Uthmaniyah Well No. 1811. The company said that the blowout resulted from a gasleak at a land rig operated by one of the contractors and added that the well did notaffect the company's activities because it was still at the drilling stage.
