PDO's Production Averages 846,000 B/D In 1997; Reserves Rise to 5.283Bn Barrels
Petroleum Development Oman's (PDO) production in 1997 averaged a record 846,000 b/d, a1.9% increase over 1996 output of 830,000 b/d, but fell slightly short of the target of850,000 b/d due to bad weather and difficult operating conditions that were encounteredduring the year, according to PDO's 1997 Annual Report.
