IDB Awards Indonesia $380Mn
In an effort to alleviate the current financial crisis in the country, the IslamicDevelopment Bank (IDB) has agreed to offer Indonesia $380mn in aid assistance. This willconstitute the first installment of a total of $500mn to be awarded to Indonesia. $280mnof the first installment will be allocated to purchasing food commodities and theremaining $100mn to financing socio-agricultural projects.
