OPEC Basket Rises 39 Cents/B In July To Average $12.04/B
The spot price for the OPEC basket of seven crudes rose by 39 cents/B during July toaverage $12.04/B for the month, according to figures released by the OPEC Secretariat. Thebasket averaged $11.65/B in June. The July average is $6.64/B below the 1997 average of$18.68/B. The weekly basket averages for July were: first week, $11.53/B; second week,$11.97/B; third week, $12.12/B; and fourth week, $12.53/B....
