EGPC Approves Concession Offers From Amoco/Elf And Shell
The Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation (EGPC) has approved the offers submitted byAmoco/Elf and Shell for two out on nine blocks put to tender in the first E&P bidround for 1998, which closed on 30 April (MEES, 12 January). In a second E&Pbid round for 1998, EGPC has put on offer nine more blocks, for which the closing date is29 October (MEES, 18 May).
