Syrian-Lebanese Agreement To Cut Customs Tariffs By 25%
The Syrian and Lebanese Governments have agreed to reduce customs tariffs on locallyproduced industrial products by 25% effective from 1 January 1999. The decision is part ofa broader plan which aims to eliminate these tariffs completely within the next fouryears.
