Jordan Refinery Raises Capacity To 100,000 B/D
The Jordan Refinery Company (JPRC), which manages and operates thecountrys sole refinery at Zarqa, has completed an expansion of the plantscapacity from 75,000 b/d to 100,000 b/d at a cost of JD5mn ($7mn). The project, entailingthe revamping and upgrading of existing units, is expected to be sufficient to meet thecountry's oil product requirements up to the year 2003.
