JP Morgan Chosen To Consult On Saudi Telecom Privatization
On 25 November, the Arabic daily al-Sharq Awsat, reported thatJP Morgan has been chosen to act as a consultant on the privatization of the SaudiTelecommunications Company (STC). STC was established by the Saudi Government to operatethe telegraph and telephone sectors on a commercial basis following Saudi cabinet approvalon 20 April (MEES, 27 April).
