Kazakoil Plans To Increase Output In 1999
Kazakstans state-owned oil company Kazakoil plans to increasecrude oil production during 1999 to 30mn tons, according to the companys president,Mr. Nurlan Kapparov, at a press conference on 30 November in Almaty. During 1998, Kazakoilproduced 26mn tons (520,000 b/d) of oil and exports stood at around 2.17mn tons (43,400b/d). Mr. Kapparov predicted that by 2015 the country should be producing 200mn tons/yearof crude oil...
