IEA Again Downsizes 4Q Demand Forecasts For 1998 and 1999
The International Energy Agency (IEA) has again slashed itsfourth-quarter oil demand projections for both 1998 and 1999. In its latest (December) MonthlyOil Market Report (MOMR), the Agency has downsized its demand estimates, in comparisonwith its November MOMR figures, by 0.6mn b/d (of which 0.5mn b/d in OECD) for 4Q 1998 andby 0.5mn b/d (0.6mn b/d in OECD) for 4Q 1999.
