Azerbaijan Signs Kurshengi-Karabakhli Exploration Contract WithFrontera, Delta/Hess
Azerbaijans state-owned oil company Socar signed on 15 December acontract with Frontera Resources of the US and the Saudi Arabian-US joint venture DeltaOil/Amerada Hess concerning the rehabilitation and further exploration of theKurshengi-Karabakhli onshore oilfields, which lie about 140 kms. southwest of Baku. Headsof agreement were signed in Baku in June (MEES, 30 November)....
