Ras Fanar Output Rises To 20,000 B/D
The output of the Ras Fanar field on the west coast ofthe Gulf of Suez has increased by 12,000 b/d to 20,000 b/d, according to Egyptian OilMinister Hamdi al-Banbi. The Minister is quoted by the Cairo daily al-Akhbar, 14January, as saying that the output increase was the result of a development project whichcost $14mn.
