Shuaiba Refinery Capacity Increased to 195,000 B/D
The Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC) announced on 16 February that Kuwait's refining capacity has now been restored to its pre-Gulf war level of 895,000 b/d with the completion of repairs to the Shuaiba refinery, which is now processing 195,000 b/d as compared to the previous 160,000 b/d. Kuwait's two other refineries, Mina al-Ahmadi and Mina Abdullah, have capacities of 445,000 b/d and 255,000 b/d...
