IDSC Figures On Oil/Gas Production & Consumption & Suez Canal Traffic In 1996
Egyptian crude oil production amounted to 43,017,000 metric tons (about 860,340 b/d) in 1996, according to figures compiled by MEES from the monthly bulletins of the Egyptian Cabinet's Information and Decision Support Center (IDSC) - see Table 1 overleaf.
