Yemen Signs E&P Agreement With Hungary's MOL Covering BlockNo. 49
The Yemeni Ministry of Petroleum and Minerals signed in Sana'a on5 April a production sharing agreement with the state-owned Hungarian firm MOL coveringthe 3,447-sq. km. block No. 49 (the E/S Al Maber Block) in the Hadhramaut area (forlocation, see map in MEES, 3 February). An initial Memorandum of Understanding (MOU)covering the block was signed with MOL last February (MEES, 10 March)....
