Iran Reports Decline In Foreign Debt To$18.8Bn By End-1996
According to the latest issue of Economic Trends, the quarterly bulletin of theCentral Bank of Iran, total foreign debt on 20 December 1996 stood at $18,835mn- $5,117mn in short-term debt and $13,718mn in long-term debt - down $4,133mnfrom $22,968mn on 20 December 1995.
