IEA's First Forecast For 1998 Predicts 2Mn B/D Growth For Non-OPEC Supply
At first glance, the initial supply/demand forecast for the year 1998published by the International Energy Agency (IEA) in its latest (June) Monthly OilMarket Report (MOMR) bears an uncanny resemblance to the introductory forecasts for1997 issued last year, in that in both cases robust projected increases in demand wereexceeded by even more robust estimated increments in non-OPEC supply....
