Kazakhstan Reimposes Oil Export Duty, KMG EP Buys Producing Assets
Kazakhstans Finance Minister Bolat Zhamishev announced on 13 July that the government would reimpose, for the first time since January 2009, an oil export duty on crude oil and oil product exports.
