Tunisia has awarded an exploration permit to Mobil Corp. covering a 3,168 sq. kms.block located in the Ghomrassen area of the southern Tataouine region. Exploration forboth oil and gas will be conducted by Mobil Exploration and Production Tunisia (MEPT), acompany established specifically for this job.
