Attar Appointed Head Of Sonatrach
Algeria's new Energy Minister, Mr. Yousef Yousefi, on 14 July appointed Mr. Abdal-Majid Attar as the new head of the state-owned Sonatrach, replacing Mr. NazimZouioueche. Mr. Attar, a 51-year-old-geologist, is a senior Sonatrach official, havingformerly headed the exploration and international affairs division of the company.
