France's Total Holds Its Ground On South Pars Deal With Iran
The French oil company Total has made it clear that it will make its own decision as itthinks fit regarding its potential deal with Iran to invest in the development of theSouth Pars gas/condensate field, despite US threats of possible extraterritorial sanctionsunder the Iran Libya Sanctions Act (ILSA), pointing out that increased investment willhelp further stimulate democratic reform in Iran.
