Iraqi Crude Exports Move West
Iraq resumed crude oil exports last week, after a ten-week hiatus, with theoverwhelming bulk of its supplies continuing to move to westward destinations. Of the 22contracts (total volume 101.12mn barrels) signed so far by Iraq's State Oil MarketingOrganization (SOMO) with international oil firms, only one agreement with Mobil for 3.6mnbarrels is destined to the Far East (Singapore).
