1996 Oil Output Down 3.7%, Natural Gas Output Up 4.7%, Net Oil Trade Revenue Down 9.7%
Egypt's oil, gas and condensate output decreased by 1.7% to 55,538,000 metric tons in 1996 from 56,485,000 tons in 1995, according to the 1996 Annual Report of the Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation (EGPC).
