OPEC Production Reaches New Peak In August After Restart Of Iraqi Exports
Boosted by the restart of Iraqi exports midway through the month, OPEC's crude oilproduction registered a sharp rise of 1.01mn b/d in August to reach 27.45mn b/d as against26.44mn b/d in July, according to MEES estimates. Records show that this was thehighest monthly crude output figure attained by OPEC since 1979.
