UNCC Awards $568Mn To Gulf War Claimants
The Geneva-based United Nations Compensation Commission (UNCC) announced on 2 Octoberthat it will pay $568mn to 228,575 claimants who were forced to leave Iraq or Kuwait as aresult of the Iraqi invasion of Kuwait in August 1990.
