Indian Group To Set Up Sponge Iron Plant In Bahrain
The Indian steelmaking group Ispat has signed an agreement with the Bahrain Governmentto set up a $290mn, 1.2mn tons/year sponge iron plant in Bahrain which will utilize some50mn cu. ft./day of natural gas to be supplied by the Bahrain National Oil Company(Banoco).
