US Oil Demand Rises 2.9% In 3Q97
US oil demand in third-quarter 1997 averaged 18.7mn b/d, an increase of 2.9% over thesame period in 1996, according to the latest Quarterly Statistics Report publishedby the American Petroleum Institute (API) on 15 October.
