Capacity Of OPEC's Tanker Fleet Rises To 13.63Mn DWT At End-1996
The total capacity of the OPEC member countries' tanker fleets increased by 1.85mn dwtat the end of 1996 to 13.63 dwt from the previous year'sfigure of 11.78mn dwt, an increase of 15.7% by volume from the revised December 1995figures, according to the OPEC Annual Report for 1996, which has just beenreleased.
