QGPC Signs Development-Production Sharing Deal With Occidental For ISSD Field
The Qatar General Petroleum Corporation (QGPC) signed on 10 December adevelopment-production sharing agreement with the US firm Occidental(Oxy) for the offshoreIdd El-Shargi South Dome (ISSD) oil field, located approximately 15 miles from the IddEl-Shargi North Dome (ISND) that has been operated by Oxy since late 1994 (see map, MEES,18 August).
