EPC Awards Contract For Dichlorethane Plant To Krupp Uhde
The Egyptian Petrochemicals Company (EPC) has awarded a contract worth about $25.5mn toKrupp Uhde of Germany for the construction on a turn-key basis of an oxychlorination plantwith an output capacity of 80,000 tons/year of dichlorethane. The plant, whose output willbe used as feedstock for the manufacture of vinyl chloride, will be built at EPC'spetrochemical complex at al-Amiriya, near Alexandria....
