Saudi/South African Steel Mill Planned For Jubail
Saudi Arabia's al-Shamrany Group and South African Iscor Ltd. have unveiled plans to build a joint- venture steel mill in Jubail at a cost of SR800mn ($213mn). According to a report in the London Arabic daily al-Hayat of 9 October, al-Shamrany will have a 70% share in the project.
