ABC Lends Sharjah $20Mn
Under an agreement signed on 25 October, the Bahrain-based Arab Banking Corporation (ABC) will lend the Sharjah Electricity and Water Authority $20mn to finance a new gas-fired generator at al-Layyah power station. The generator will cost $25mn and will add 100 megawatts to power generation.
