Egyptian Debt Rises
The Annual Report of the Egyptian Central Bank says that Egypt's total debt burden rose to $68.47bn at the end of June 1995, compared to $63.46bn at the same point in 1994, an increase of 8%. Of this, $32.97bn was owed to foreign creditors, as against $30.89bn at the end of June 1994.
