Israel Promises Use Of Force To Defend Offshore Gas Discoveries
Israeli Minister of National Infrastructures Uzi Landau has responded to warnings from Lebanon against the exploitation of offshore gas resources that may extend into Lebanese waters by saying that Israel would use force if necessary to protect the discoveries, where potential gas reserves have been estimated as high as 30 trillion cu ft (850bn cu ms).
