Iraqi Parliament Ratifies Oil Deal With Russia
Iraq's national assembly (parliament) ratified on 6 November an agreement signed last April with Russia concerning the implementation of joint projects in the area of oil- field development and investment. The agreement covers two protocols, one long-term to be implemented after UN sanctions are lifted, and the other short-term to be carried out in the near future (MEES, 1 May).
