Asea Brown Boveri Wins Saudi Power Contract
The Saudi Consolidated Electric Company-Central has awarded Asea Brown Boveri of Switzerland a contract worth $175mn to supply equipment for a power distribution station in Riyadh in which Reyrolle, part of Britain's Rolls-Royce Industrial Power group, is involved with a contract worth around $300mn (MEES, 12 June). Work on the project is due for completion by 1999.
