Ansaldo Wins $63Mn Desalination Contract In Sharjah
The UAE emirate of Sharjah has awarded Italy's Ansaldo a contract to build a 5.5mn gallon/day water desalination plant at a cost of Dh230mn ($63mn) at the al-Layyah power station in Sharjah. The new plant will boost the sweet water capacity at the station to 25mn gallons/day.
