Kuwait Stock Exchange Introduces Computerized System
Kuwait launched the Gulf's first computerized stock trading system on 25 November. The new system, the hardware for which was made by AT&T Corp. of the US and the software designed by Effect Invest of Austria, is called KATS - Kuwait Automated Trading System. The bilingual system matches volumes and prices instantly and any transaction is published in seconds.
