New Egyptian Government Formed; Banbi Retains Oil Portfolio
A new Egyptian cabinet headed by Prime Minister Kamal Ganzuri was sworn in on 4 January. It replaced the government of Premier 'Atif Sidqi which had resigned two days earlier.
