BG AwardsSeismic Contract To Petroleum Geo-Services
On 17 January, British Gas (BG) announced the award of amajor 3D seismic survey contract in Egypt's Nile Delta off-shore to Petroleum Geo-Services AS, a company headquarteredin Houston, Texas, and Oslo, Norway. The survey covers anarea of 2,100 sq. kms. in two BG operated exploration concessions, Rosetta and West Delta Deep Marine(see mapbelow). The program also includes around 900 kms. of 2D acquisition....
