Bandar Abbas Refinery To Be Completed In 1Q 1997
Iran's Bandar Abbas refinery is 75% complete, according to Iranian First Vice President Hasan Habibi, who visited the Gulf coast complex on 8 January. The refinery, which is being built by Chiyoda of Japan, is currently scheduled to begin operations during the first quarter of 1997 with a capacity of 220,000 b/d.
