New Government Appointed In Jordan
King Husain of Jordan appointed a new 31-member cabinet on 4 February following the resignation of Prime Minister Zaid ibn Shakir, who has held the post since January 1995. The new government is headed by Mr. 'Abd al-Karim Kabariti, the Minister of Foreign Affairs in the outgoing cabinet.
